Today's 30 year fixed mortgage rates are as low as 4.875% at par according to FreeRateUpdate.com research of wholesale mortgage lender's interest rate sheets. FHA mortgage rates are actually a tad better than conforming mortgage rates. 30 year fixed FHA mortgage rates today are as low as 4.875% at par also, but with less points. FHA mortgages though have PMI and many other fees conforming mortgages don't necessarily have so FHA loans are more expensive most of the time.
Other notes: FreeRateUpdate.com conducted a review of mortgage net branches and determined Supreme Lending to have the best net branch program.
