Today's Mortgage Rates are Up

Today's mortgage rates took a big jump up. 30 year fixed mortgage rates shot up to 4.875%. 5/1 ARM rates jumped to 4%. The 10 year treasury yield, an indicator for conforming mortgage rates, jumped up to a 4 month high of 3.68% +0.1360 (+3.84%). Prices of mortgage-backed securities dropped significantly as well. Mortgage rates move opposite MBS prices. Today's jumbo 30 year fixed rate is 5.875%. Today's FHA 30 year fixed rate is 5%.
