30 Year Fixed Mortgage Rates Continue Up
Mortgage rates today continued to rise. Current 30 year fixed conforming mortgage rates are now as low as 5.125%, up over 0.50% from record lows. 30 year fixed mortgage rates aren't all that's up. Current 15 year fixed conforming mortgage rates are as low as 4.5%, up from 4.25%. The 5/1 ARM interest rate is the only one that held it's ground today, staying at 4%. Mortgage rates have been on the rise for 4 straight weeks. The benchmark 10 year treasury yield, used to predict home loan rates, is now at a 4 month high.
